What is included with a pop-up picnic?

Our pop-up picnics include set up/take down, seating, decor, food and beverages for up to 12 guests. (For larger parties please submit your request on the “Contact Us” page). Decor and food are based on what food and decor packages you choose. More info on these packages can be found under our “Packages” tab.

Does someone from Golden Sea Picnics stay for the picnic?

No, we leave after you have arrived and are settled in, and we will return to clean up and take down once your reservation ends (usually about 1.5 hours later).

Can I book Golden Sea Pop-Up picnics for a proposal?

Short answer: YES! We have a specific proposal package under “Picnic Themes”. We will make your proposal as special and romantic as possible and will take all of the necessary precautions to ensure it stays a surprise (if you’d like it to be one).

Do I need a permit?

You do not need a permit for parties under ~20 people in public areas, so usually permits are not needed.

Do you provide alcohol?

We do provide champagne if guests are over age 21. If the picnic is in a public place, such as a beach or park, the liability is on the guests to either reserve an alcohol permit or assume liability if caught with alcohol.

Do you offer vegan, vegetarian and/or GF options?

Yes! We offer pescatarian, vegetarian and vegan charcuterie options. Every option can be made gluten free at no additional cost as well. You can check out our food options under the “Packages” section!

What is your cancellation policy?

If we need to reschedule based on bad weather, we will reschedule free of charge. All picnics can be cancelled up to one week prior the set picnic date, free of charge. If the cancellation is within 3-6 days, 75% of the payment will be returned and if the cancellation is within 1-2 days, 50% of the payment will be returned.
